Malaga Airport - A Short Guide

 

Malaga is home to a little under 600,000 inhabitants making it the sixth largest city in Spain. The Malaga Airport is now officially called Malaga - Costa del Sol Airport. and it’s the main airport for the whole Costa del Sol region with connections to all the top resorts and cities in the region. It’s also where 85% of international air traffic comes from, as it’s one of the only airports in the region offering a wide range of international flights. The airport can be reached from more than 30 countries and more than 100 airports. You can even fly to Malaga Airport from more than 30 UK airports such as London’s Heathrow and Gatwick, Manchester Airport and a number of smaller airports throughout the country, with all the major airlines and tour operators like British Airways and Air Italia and a number of budget airlines such as Monarch, Easyjet and Ryanair.

 

The Car Hire desks at Malaga Airport are located in terminal buildings 2 and 3 and the parking lots are on floors one and two. Access to the Malaga Airport car rentals desk in terminal 2 is via a ramp in the arrivals hall while the Terminal 3 car rentals desks are on the ground floor of the Terminal.
